Meet Luna, the bloodstone guardian owl. Luna is about 8 inches tall on a large blank journal/sketchbook.

Luna has painted glass cabochon eyes, standing on a large 1.5 inch size bloodstone healing stone.
I also added a rhinestone on the corners.

It took about 10 hours to finish this cover. Feathers are individually cut and shaped and I used pan pastel for colouring.

I think the cover turned out to be very beautiful and definitely a very unique one.
