“Essence of Life” A polymer Clay covered Journal with Labradorite Healing Stone
Lately, I’ve been drawn by the beauty of healing stones and I decided to create more design using different kind of stones. Aside from the healing properties it posses, It also creates a beautiful accent on every cover I make. This particular journal cover is very inspiring. It connects us to the nature around us. I used labradorite stone as the highlight of this cover. The design of the cover is nature inspired with roses, vines, leaves and gold accent. Labradorite stone is known to align all chakras, used for protection, amplifies the effect of healing, prayers and affirmation, aids in doing inner work to root out old negative patterns. I also created a sodalite bookmark to go with this journal. Sodalite gives guidance, intuition and focus. It understand emotional issues, support healthy blood pressure and hydration. Sodalite also brings order and calmness to mind and purify your aura and protect negative energy. The beautiful poem at the back of this cover is written by the owner of this journal. This journal is truly personalized and customized just for Tina. Visit my shop to see more of my healing stones journal. Luna Blue Gifts Etsy Shop Luna Blue Gift Shop

Crystals, Gemstones, Healing Stones Personalized Journals, Polymer Clay Covered Journals
I am fascinated how these beautiful stones, crystals and gemstones look. They’re beautiful and thought of them having it on a journal cover excites me. I have seen several artists using them in pendants and they look beautiful and mystical. Here are my journal covers that I incorporate stones and beads. I am planning of making a collection of them. I am slowly working on adding more designs. This is a custom order using raw amethyst and tumbled rose quartz. I named this journal ” Old Spell”. I added a lot of details and finished it with antique gold. This cover looks magical. I used another rose quartz covered with vines. It took me about 4 hours to create this journal cover. I didn’t have a plan at all. One of my random designs but I am pretty happy how it turned out. This journal is ancient inspired. I wanted to achieve an antique bronze finish and create the carved red jade medallion as the highlight of this cover. This is just a simple design but very ancient indeed. The idea of this journal is something mysterious and magical. I have seen a lot of fairy doors made by several artists and it inspired me. I created my own metallic version that looks mysterious than whimsical. I found a piece of citrine in my stash and the shape was something different. I had to think about a cover that will work with the shape of the stone and I came up with this design. I call this cover “Mystical Flower”… The metallic blue added a nice accent to this cover. I added this cover design to my shop and customer has the options of what stones they would like on their cover. It can also be personalized. In the next few months. I will be adding more of these stones & gems journal cover. A few of this journals are available for purchase in my etsy shop. Take time to visit my shop and see more of my work. Luna Blue Gifts

Mixed Media Sketchbook, Daisy Mixed Media Sketchbook, Personalized Sketchbook
I ordered a sketchbook online and it came with a little rip on the side so, I decided to do a mixed media project on it to cover the rip instead of returning it. I was thinking of combining light tone colours and I glad I came up with this combination. I truly love how the shades of pink, purple & blue turned out. I used cheesecloth as part of texture and it also covered the small rip along the spine. I used matte gel medium to glue the cheesecloth on the cover. I also added a cut out chip board oval frame in the middle. I also added layers of white gesso, tim holtz distress paint, lindy stamp gang spray and viva inca gold paste. Texture used are crumpled parchment paper and cricut cut outs painted with Tim Holtz distress paint “olive”. Flowers and leaves are made of polymer clay. Roses Personalized Mixed Media Journal, Custom Journal
I’m so happy for the opportunity to create a new mixed media journal design. This journal is like a garden. It signifies life with roses, bee & hive. I had a little bit of set back while creating the background colours. It was a challenge to get it right and at the same time, making it sure that it will go with my clay embellishments. After, 3 hours of work, the result was satisfying and surprisingly beautiful. I say I am pretty happy with it. I love a good challenge 🙂 The hive texture was cut from a cricut machine using 100 lb smooth card stock paper. I painted it with tim holt distress paint “copper”. I used black thick gesso, silver acrylic paint, lindy stamp gang sprays and viva inca gold paste for the background cover. I highlighted the roses, leaves and other embellishments with washed out black acrylic clay. This journal is sealed using PYM II spray to retain colours. It is perfect for everyday use.
